2023 Granting Policy
After the past three years of continued growth in local and ambassador granting, the Foundation is slowing down in the 2023 cycle to reevaluate our granting priorities and outreach.
Our ambassador application window closed this spring/summer. Ambassadors who do not submit grants will have the opportunity to apply for small donations to support nonprofits and community organizations. Details on this opportunity forthcoming.
In terms of local granting, the Foundation is not entertaining proposals from organizations or agencies that we have not partnered with in the past. We will, however, continue some of our relationships with Red Hook and regional grantees from previous years. Rather than an open period of applications throughout the year, we will accept applications from October 1st through October 15th.
Lastly, we will continue with our scholarship opportunity this year for graduating RHHS seniors.
